5 Spring Mix and Match Patterns: Friday Finds
Spring 2016 will be remembered for a lot of reasons. While we’re certain you’ll have a few steamy dates between now and the first day of summer, this season will also be remembered for patterns. The following mix and match patterns are for the adventurous woman who likes to showcase effortless style.
1. Subtle Stripes with Floral Patterns
Stripes and florals are in. Like, in, in. The main variation of this look is the bold, stripped skirt and dainty floral shirt. We decided to mix things up a bit by featuring pants ($108) with a bold floral pattern paired with a subtly stripped shirt ($48). The flowing nature of these pants paired with the fitted, cropped shirt make for an outfit that will get compliments all day. Dress up this combo with a pair of strappy platforms or dress it down with Birkenstocks.
2. Floral on Floral
What could be better than multiple floral patterns working together to create a flirty, spring look. Nothing, we say! Nothing… This floral dress ($270) and headband ($18) combination goes naturally together because of each garments dark hues. While we like this dress, we’re really in love with the headband. Because we all know that spring brings lots of wind, and our hair can use all the help it can get.
3. Rainbow Stripes and Strappy Stripes
This combination is the visual definition of spring. This skirt’s ($198) beautiful color pattern is accentuated by its swingy silhouette. While these shoes ($198) aren’t technically striped, their straps add a “stripped” illusion. And the height you’ll get from these clogs will allow you to glide around the masses like a glorious spring queen.
Confession: This is a total splurge pick… Ballroom skirts paired rustic, leather bags that feature crossed striped lines and studs? Yes, please. Mixing this beautiful floral skirt ($650) with an earthy bag ($678) gives you the perfect boho look that everyone is trying to achieve this season.
